Siyi was fascinated by the micro world when she was doing her thesis about marine plankton, the tiny drifting organisms in water. After trying the existing portable microscopes on the market, she realized there was nothing in the world that could deliver this special experience to everyday explorers with curious minds.
Inspired by a special microscope in biological oceanography, she invited her friend Yu, who is passionate about creating cool, new technology for more people, to join the venture. And with Yu's talent in hardware engineering, we're turning advaced microscope technology into something accessible to you.

Current microscopes are either bulky, expensive tools or low-quality small toys. We are designing Eureka! Microscope so that more people can explore the fascinating details of the world.
Whether you are alone, with family, friends, a partner, or students, and whether you are at home, in a forest, on the beach, in the classroom, or on a trip, Eureka! Microscope offers an unknown journey full of surprising discoveries.
Don't worry about it's durability! It's waterproof, dustproof, and has a battery life of 6–10 hours.
Sharp enough for research, simple enough for fun
With a resolution < 1.6μm and a magnification of 100-200X, you can discover diverse samples. For example, microorganisms in pond water. Maybe they spark some metaphysical questions - How did life evolve from single-cell organisms to human beings? How did Earth look one billion years ago? What will happen on Earth after one billion years? What is LIFE?
To get the microscopic view, you just need to connect it to your phone, tablet, or laptop through WiFi on our app. You can save the images or videos instantly and share them on social media.
For classroom use, multiple microscopes can join the public WiFi so that the teacher can monitor the views from all the microscopes. USB connection to the laptop is also possible in case the network resource is too crowded.
MULTIPLE VISUAL EFFECTS & ADDS-ON
See the same sample in completely new ways. With just a tap on the app, you can switch between bright, dark, and oblique lighting to reveal hidden details. Add a polarization filter set, and even a simple crystal transforms into a dazzling rainbow kaleidoscope.
